Valerie is a teacher of students with multiple disabilities at Faircrest Memorial Middle School (Canton Local Schools). She has been director since January 2008 and participates in every flight. She also is chairperson of the Veterans Day program that is held annually on Nov. 11th every year. She has two sons, Kyle and Ryan serving in the Air Force and Navy.

MR. HARRY DONOVAN- BOARD MEMBER
Harry is a World War II Navy Veteran who served in the South Pacific. During that time he made seven invasions. Harry has been very active with many Veteran groups and was honored to visit the World War II Memorial on the first flight out of Akron. He has been a CPA and business consultant for over 50 years.
MR. TOM HUTCHISON- BOARD MEMBER
Tom is an Akron native residing in Eastern Kentucky where he and a brother own and operate several McDonald’s restaurants. Although he never served in the military, Tom’s pride and passion for his family, country and hometown roots led him to serve as an active Board member of Honor Flight CAK. He is a proud son of a WWII veteran and a true “Rosie the Riveter,” as well as a one brother who served in Vietnam and two who served in the National Guard.
